A developmental evaluation helps parents understand how their young child is growing and learning. At CAAT, we evaluate children ages 0–6 across several key areas, including thinking skills, language, motor development, social skills, behavior, temperament, and daily living skills such as feeding and toilet training.
Our Developmental Clinic works with children who may have developmental concerns related to premature birth, genetic or neurological conditions, cardiac issues, social-emotional challenges, or behavioral difficulties. The evaluation helps clarify your child’s current strengths, needs, and next steps.
After the evaluation, parents receive clear feedback from our clinical team. We explain our observations, impressions, and recommendations in practical terms. Families also receive a detailed, easy-to-read report that outlines the child’s developmental profile, including strengths, challenges, and recommended supports.
Parents can share this report with pediatricians, teachers, therapists, and other care providers. This helps everyone involved better understand the child and support their development.
CAAT also values long-term relationships with families. As your child grows, we can provide follow-up support to monitor progress and adjust recommendations when needed.
Call the office or use our online form to set-up an intake call with our client services liaison to schedule a developmental evaluation for your child.
