Founded to Provide Integrated, Wrap-Around Support
Founded in 2012, the Center for Assessment and Treatment (CAAT) was created to provide integrated assessment and treatment services for children, teens, and adults. Our team combines comprehensive evaluation with individualized therapy, executive functioning support, social skills programming, and family collaboration to help clients better understand their strengths, challenges, and support needs.
Also, CAAT was the first practice to pioneer and bring the PEERS® social skills program to the Washington, DC area, expanding evidence-based social support opportunities for adolescents and young adults.
By linking clinical expertise with compassionate, evidence-based care, CAAT helps individuals and families build on strengths, develop effective strategies, and reach their full potential.
Led by Dr. David O. Black and Hope Harris-Black, CAAT is committed to providing collaborative, neurodiversity-affirming care across the lifespan.
