Neuropsychological Evaluations

We conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments of individuals who have, or are suspected of having, self-regulatory and social disorders, learning disorders, emotional dysregulation, and other conditions that impact the ability to manage the social, academic, and/or work-related demands of daily life. Our evaluations identify the social, emotional, developmental, and/or educational needs of these individuals, and allow us to begin to address the problem(s) in the most effective way for each individual. They also provide individuals with a richer and more complete understanding of themselves, their unique strengths, and the specific challenges that they face in day-to-day life. Our evaluations include a thorough assessment of learning strengths and weaknesses, which is essential for strong academic planning and performance.

Our comprehensive evaluations offer an inclusive neuropsychological profile, helping to highlight the uniqueness of every child, adolescent, or adult who comes into our clinic. Our strong emphasis on identifying strengths helps clients, their families, and the professionals who work with them to stay focused on developing the specific skills they will use to be successful in adult life. By carefully identifying and articulating weaknesses that interfere with academic, social, and/or daily functioning, we develop individualized and comprehensive recommendations that help individuals to reach their full potential.

Through this thorough understanding of an individual’s neuropsychological profile, we are able to identify goals of treatment and (in most cases) specific intervention providers that best leverage strengths and learning style to support weaknesses. Each individual is unique, as is their evaluation; recommendations and plans for intervention are developed on an individualized basis, and tailored to best address each individual’s needs.

A neuropsychological assessment is appropriate for children (four and older), adolescents, and adults.
