We conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for individuals who have, or are suspected of having, self-regulatory and social disorders, learning disorders, emotional dysregulation, and other conditions that impact their ability to manage the social, academic, and/or work-related demands of daily life. Our experienced clinicians closely examine the social, emotional, developmental, and educational needs of each client, providing them a richer and more complete understanding of self. Using relatable terms, CAAT can help clients address problem(s) in the most effective way – drawing on individual strengths.
Each individual is unique; recommendations and plans for intervention are developed on an individualized basis, and tailored to best address the individual’s needs.”
CAAT evaluations provide an inclusive neuropsychological profile. Our strong emphasis on identifying strengths helps clients, their families, and the professionals who work with them focus on developing specific skills to be successful in life.
Understanding the neuropsychological profile allows CAAT to craft an individual treatment plan, set realistic therapy goals and, in most cases, offer specific referrals for intervention services that best leverage strengths and learning style to offset weaknesses.
A neuropsychological evaluation is appropriate for children age six and older, adolescents, and adults. For children younger than 6, please see Developmental Evaluation.
