Dana Hussein, LCSW-C, is a compassionate and dedicated therapist with experience in working in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Specializing in individual and family therapy, Ms. Hussein has worked extensively with children, adolescents, and adults, offering support and guidance through a diverse range of mental health challenges.
Driven by a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of neurodiverse individuals, Ms. Hussein brings a unique understanding and expertise to the therapeutic process. Through tailored approaches utilizing knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and other evidence-based techniques, she strives to empower clients and their families to navigate the complexities of these conditions with confidence and resilience.
In addition to her specializations, Ms. Hussein is committed to addressing emotion regulation difficulties, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders. By fostering a safe and non-judgmental environment, she facilitates exploration and growth, guiding clients and their families towards greater emotional well-being and self-awareness.
Ms. Hussein holds a BA in Psychology from Franklin and Marshall College, an MSW and MPH from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Ms. Hussein completed internships in her graduate studies providing mental health care at Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore City as well as research projects focused on empowering parents with children on the Autism Spectrum.
