Our parent support groups are:
WELCOMING and INCLUSIVE: Our groups provide a safe and welcoming place where through shared learning and open dialogue, we aim to build confidence and understanding in navigating the challenges and joys of parenting. We believe in the power of community, where every parent’s experience is valued and respected. Parenting is a journey best shared. By coming together, we grow stronger and more resilient as a community.
SUPPORTIVE and UNDERSTANDING: We understand that every child and family is unique, as is the parenting journey. Together, we share insights, experiences, and encouragement to support one another.
EMPOWERMENT and EDUCATION: Our groups provide resources, information, and tools to help you understand your child and their development, advocate for your child’s needs, and empower your family. Through shared learning we aim to build confidence and understanding. We strive to learn from each other, offering encouragement and practical advice that can make a real difference for you, your child, and your family unit.
NON-JUDGMENTAL ENVIRONMENT: Our groups are a judgement free zone, where ALL feelings and experiences are valid. We support each other through the challenges and celebrate the victories, big and small.
FOCUS on STRENGTHS and POSITIVITY: We believe in focusing on our children’s as well as parent’s strengths and potential while addressing challenges with compassion and care. Our groups emphasize the importance of fostering a positive, hopeful outlook for the future.
